Box is fishing good now, . Right now try stoneflys black, brown and golden, also try small bead heads like a pheasant tail, prince, and hares ear in a size 14 or 16. Leech patterns always do ok up there try a black one. As far as dries not much top action but you could try a caddis or a pmd or adams patterns.

Report by Idaho Irresistibles Fly and Tackle (II-Fly) 7/19/2010This section is fishing great right now, for nymphs gold, brown, and black, green caddis larva, olive hares ear, princes, pheasent talils, copper johns, stones are fishing well in the morning you want to concentrate on nymphing until mid afternoon green seems to be the hot color on bottom or the top. Mid afternoon switch to green emergers and spinners and rusty spinners and some have worked well. Then in the later afternoon switch to the dries use brown or olive or peacock caddis, pmds, flavs, renegade, adams, royal coachman. On the dries a size 12, 14, or 16 and on the nymphs sames size other than stones use a 4,6,8 on those.

this strech is fishing really really good now, mornings nymph with green beadheads, caddis larva, pmd larva, black or brown girdle bugs, black or brown rubberleg stones, copper johns. early pm emergers and spinners are good, and in the evening use caddis peacock tan or olive, renegade, coachman, flavs, adams. all in 12,14, or 16 on the dries and 4,6,8 on the stones, golden stones10,12,14 on the nymphs.

Lures rapalas, gold, silver, copper, rainbow trout and brook trout colors work well also, bait fisherman use worms with power bait green or chartruse.
